Glyn Cozart Chaney

Glyn advises a diverse set of clients on issues threatening their license to operate around the world, with a focus on litigation, issues management and public affairs. An analyst and investigator by nature, Glyn specializes in digging into complex issues for her teams, understanding the nuances of policy developments and then helping clients focus on what matters most to their business.
Prior to joining CLS, Glyn built her career at APCO Worldwide where she worked on the largest global arbitration in history, developing communications and outreach strategies to raise awareness and understanding of the case with policymakers, academics and the media. A Russian speaker, Glyn helped her clients understand and react to developments in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region, developing communications strategies and risk assessments for businesses operating in Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
Glyn has also worked closely with multinational corporations and organizations to coordinate their presence at major international events, including on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
She got her start working for PBN H+K Strategies in Moscow, working with corporate clients to evaluate their exposure to sanctions risk and conduct due diligence on their local partners. She is a recipient of the Alfa Fellowship and a member of the Eurasia Foundation’s Young Professionals Network.
Glyn has a B.A. in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.A. in Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
