Chelsy assists a wide range of clients facing reputational, regulatory, and public affairs challenges. Her work supports several Fortune 500 companies, trade associations and global financial institutions.
Prior to joining CLS, Chelsy was based in London where she helped a number of organizations adjust their communication strategies following the 2016 Brexit referendum. A significant part of this work was assisting UK trade associations and their members to become an instrumental part of post-Brexit negotiations and international trade policy.
During this time, Chelsy also worked with several global financial institutions to communicate their strategies regarding regulation, digital disruption, new market competition, and environmental social governance (ESG). Following the Paris Agreement, she helped a leading financial institution launch one of the first asset-level environmental evaluation products to help investors understand the environmental impact of their portfolios – a critical part of aligning the markets with climate change goals.
Prior to this experience, Chelsy interned at a business-led think tank in Paris, where she contributed to a report concerning steps to improve France’s youth unemployment rate following the financial crisis. She also learned the ins-and-outs of implementing a large-scale campaign while working on the George P. Bush for Texas Land Commissioner Campaign in 2014.
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Chelsy received her master’s degree in International Political Economy from King’s College London, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Texas
