Camila Botero

Camila provides support to a wide range of clients across CLS Strategies’ practice areas, including international public affairs and litigation communications.
Prior to joining CLS, Camila interned at CommonLit, an education nonprofit in Washington, D.C. She worked closely with their team in Mexico, where she discovered her passion of international and intercultural communications. Her capstone projects, during her undergraduate and graduate studies, dealt with social justice issues like LGBTQIA+ discrimination and the women’s rights movement, respectively.
Camila received her B.A in History from Florida International University and her M.A. in Strategic Communications from American University. She was born in Colombia and moved to Florida when she was six, where she lived until moving to Washington D.C. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
