Allison Haley

Allison is a strategic communications and public affairs advisor. Corporate, political and trade association clients turn to her to lead complex campaigns and help them achieve public policy and regulatory goals, as well as reputational work. Allison’s expertise spans many issues, including the transportation, trade, antitrust and general litigation sectors. She is also a digital media expert, as she regularly integrates social media and online advertising into the larger strategic communications strategy on behalf of her clients.
For a recent battle in Washington D.C. over the regulation of drones and model aircraft, Allison managed the public affairs and media strategy for the largest association of hobbyist flyers, the Academy of Model Aeronautics. She spearheads social media campaigns for the trade association representing major U.S. airlines, Airlines for America, helping them leverage this online audience for public policy purposes.
In addition, Allison works with corporate clients on crisis and litigation communications. She has helped secure approval from United States and European anti-trust regulators on an international acquisition in the beverage industry and has also crafted messaging and wrangled combative press for a decade-long patent dispute in the retail industry.
Prior to joining CLS Strategies, Allison worked for Global Strategy Group, where she focused on non-profit and political work. In 2012, she worked on President Obama’s reelection campaign in Florida training volunteers and working to get out the vote.
Allison was named one of PR News’ Top Women in PR in 2017. She holds a degree in political science from Hope College in Holland, Michigan and now lives in beautiful Boulder, Colorado.
