Kristina Miller advises clients facing litigation, regulatory, and reputational challenges, while focusing on helping clients build and execute innovative communications campaigns. Her work spans a range of CLS Strategies’ practice areas, including crisis and litigation, public affairs, and international strategy.
Kristina has nearly 10 years of communications experience. She worked in television production at BBC Productions USA and Court TV before embarking on a career in book publishing. While working as a publicist at Random House and Hyperion Books, she promoted books by authors such as Maya Angelou, Salman Rushdie, David Brooks, chef Jamie Oliver, actress Jane Lynch, as well as the Rolling Stones.
Kristina grew up overseas, living in Milan, East Berlin, Ankara, Hamburg, and Helsinki. She also studied at the University of Edinburgh and the Freie Universität in Berlin, and participated in a summer cultural exchange program, living with a family in Tianjin, China.
In her free time, Kristina has volunteered with Fairfax County’s Adult Education ESL program and with StreetWise Partners, helping unemployed or underemployed adults improve their skills in resume-writing and computer usage, and to prepare them for job interviews.
Kristina is a graduate of the University of Virginia and earned a Master’s in International Affairs from the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University. She has a strong interest in digital policy and cyber issues. She conducted her master’s capstone project for U.S. Cyber Command on cyber deterrence and also has a certificate in cybersecurity strategy from Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies.
